Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

T

hank you for looking us up!

Whether you are looking to visit or to get connected to a church family we wanted to let you know what you might expect. The Lord has revealed Himself to us, and so much more through His word, so we place great emphasis on teaching through the Bible verse by verse. Most of the worship songs we sing are contemporary, and dress primarily is casual.

Whether you are curious as to who God is and what He has for you, or you have walked with Him for a good while, we hope that you would join us as we encourage one another to go forward in trusting Jesus Christ. We are a family of believers who desire to grow in the love and grace of the Lord and to glorify Him.

Our services are around an hour and a half. We have been spending Sunday mornings in a more in-depth study in the New Testament and Wednesday evenings in the Old Testament.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the revealed will of God, that it is the infallible and authoritative will of God, and that it is the all sufficient rule of faith and practice.

We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that He was born of a virgin, became our atoning sacrifice through His death, was raised from the dead, ascended to His Father and will personally return in power and glory to the earth.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savor is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

We believe that the Father and the Son have given the Holy Spirit to regenerate us, transform us into the image of Christ, and equip us for service. Personal holiness, healing, the fullness of the Spirit and all the spiritual gifts received in the days of the New Testament are available now and should be eagerly desired (1 Corinthians 14:1).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the church, full immersion water baptism of believers, and the Lord's Supper.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved will be resurrected to eternal life (heaven) and who reject Jesus' free gift of salvation will be resurrected to eternal punishment (hell).

How to Get Saved

Recognize that you're a sinner
We must admit that you have sinned against God without blaming others, or attempting to justify our sin. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous, no, not one." And in Romans 3:23 it says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you
The Bible tells us of God's great love for us; John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.

Repent of your sin
The Bible tells us that we are to repent (have a change of direction in our life), admitting our faults and coming to Him for deliverance, healing and cleansing. Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. 1 John 1:9-10 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior
To become a Christian we then believe in Him, trust in Him and confess Him as Lord and Savior. Matthew 11:28 (Jesus) "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Revelation 3:20 (Jesus) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me".
